Rummy Tiles (Rummikub) Rules

Rummikub or Tiles Rummy in other countries is played with 106 tiles.

104 of the tiles are divided to four different colors, most of the times its red, blue, yellow and black. All the 104 tiles are marked with numbers 1- 13.

The remaining two tiles are the happy faces, as known as the Jokers. The pack of tiles is very similar to two packs of cards, 104 cards + two Jokers. In the tiles case we do not have any of the Royal family, no Jacks, Queens or Kings, just numbers at their value ( 11,12,13 ).

As you noticed, it’s a possibility for a player to have the same tile twice.

This means that you have each tile, twice – with the same color and same number.
