Rummy School - Lesson 9 - Turning The Luck Around

Turning the luck around comes when the goddess of luck decides to turn over to your side the crawl side of unluckiness.

A series of rounds and turns when you are sure you are going to win, make the right moves and still the goddess of luck decides you will lose this round.

There's no doubt that in this case after a few rounds, your mood will be badly affected and your game strategy might be affected since you've become impatient and agitated.

In these cases when you feel like you are being chased by the goddess of luck, we warmly recommend standing up and taking 5-10 minutes of break, to think about the better moves you made in which the goddess of luck stood by you. After some time come back to play and don't think about those bad rounds you went through. Play as if you just sat for the first time and you are eager to show your game skill.

These cases only emphasize the fact that the rummy game combines not only skill and knowledge but in many times is affected by the luck of cards which fall into your hand in your favor or against you and your control of the game will lead you to win more. Stay cool and try to overcome these obstacles, don't let them affect you during the rest of an important tournament or game for real money.
