Rummy School - Lesson 6 - General Issues

It is without a doubt that learning at the rummy school will improve your game strategy and turn you into professional players. There are a few things you must remember before you deal with other pro players.

1. First, you must remember that in order to become a professional rummy player you need more than theoretical knowledge, you also need to practice, practice and practice!! There are many moves you won't learn in any rummy school, but you will learn during the game.

2. Most of the money you will win being professional players will come not only because you are good players, but also because mistakes other players will make. You will learn from these mistakes and try to avoid them while in the same situations.

3. Remember that you are never done studying! Studying and practicing are the most important things in the rummy game.

4. Never be negative about having to pay in order to learn rummy and become a better player, instead try not to pay for the same course twice. Don't forget – even the best players in the world make mistakes, they all make mistakes. The most important thing is never to make the same mistake again.

5. It's possible that you will find yourself many times playing with better players than you and losing some money, it's important not to get agitated and try to revenge, instead, it's no shame to leave the table and move to another table you will be able to deal with other players at least equally.

6. The rummy has several versions, try to play the version you feel the most prepared, this way you will make more money. Don't try to eat the entire cake and leave it full and try to prove yourself in versions you are not that strong at. This is what the practice tables are for. In order to make money – play the version you feel the best playing at.
