No Smoking Allowed Tournaments
The
Gin Rummy Association has decided to hold
no smoking allowed tournaments.
For the smokers among you there is a smoking lounge outside the place of event, so announced the association.
The Association will be charged for renting the place where each tournament is held across the United States, this will cause a fee to be charged from each participant.
The entry fee for this event is $800 per player, this is the highest ever charged for entry in the last 8 years.
The hosting place will provide hot and cold drinks and if you dare entering food to the court the association will be fined with no less than $20,000.
There were suggestions of raising the entry fee so that the place will also provide food for the participants but eventually there was no agreement as for the menu.
Another problem is that most participants who arrive to these contents come with family and friends, this causes lack of supervision of what is happening in the game rooms.
