Lay off

Lay off is the move of the other players who didn't perform the Knock, and their object is to minimize their non matching any series Deadwood cards as much as possible. They are doing so by unveiling the series in their hands and even adding cards to other series. This sometimes eases other players and can even bring to their victory when their Deadwood is lower than the Deadwood of the player who performed a Knock . The Lay Off move is played only in the games of Gin and Oklahoma Gin.
