A Knock


The Knock is the last move of a certain player who unveils all of his series set cards, while in his hand he has the Deadwood left – cards which do not fit the series that their sum is not more than 10.

The Knock move can danger the player who performs it in a way, If the Deadwood is lower than 8 for example and the next player who unveils his cards will be left a lower than 8 Deadwood, in this case the player who performed a Knock will be punished in several negative points.

Only the first player who performs a Knock can do so, no other player who comes after him can perform the same move again. The job of the other players is to reveal their series and be left with a minimal sum of non matching cards. The Knock exists only in the game of Gin and the Oklahoma Gin .
