Gin
Gin is the name of the most popular game of the existing
Rummy games.
During the game when a player is performing a
Gin, the player actually reveals all the cards in his
Hand as series in a single time without leaving
Deadwoods.
The Gin game was invented by Elwood T Baker on 1909. The name
Gin was originally taken from the Gin scotch as a sign to the days when they used to play the game in bars and saloons when the people would meet to drink scotch.
In the game of Gin each player is dealt 10 cards when 2 players are playing or 7 cards when there are 3 or 4 players.
The object of the game is to create series of
Sets or
Runs when the winner is the first player who
Meld his ordered cards in a single time which is called a
Gin or when a player meld his cards in series and is left with non matching cards which their sum is not more than 10, this move is called a Deadwood.
