Hi Rummy2win,

We were busy playing rummy, so we didn't reply to your post :)

The best thing about the kalooki (http://www.rummyportal.com/) game, and the reason we like to play it as well, is the building option, you can build new and existing sets or runs from the already melded cards of your own or your opponents.

This increases your chances to get rid of the rest of your cards and possibly win the game!

We recommend you practice before you play first :)

Good luck,
The Rummy Portal Team

Thanks for the link to the Kalooki games, I will surly practice in my fun account at the Online Rummy room, before I will play the Kalooki for real money :)

BTW- Do you know something about the kalooki being the most played Rummy game, among former poker players ?
I have heard that from two of my friends already, both are former poker players, both choosed to start playing Rummy online, and both prefer the Kalooki game, more than all other Rummy games.

All the best

Hi R2W,

There's no doubt the popularity of Kalooki over Poker (Especially online) is rising and these are several reasons to that:

1. Kalooki in particular and Rummy are considered a skill game.
2. Kalooki and Rummy are known to be more popular as in home family games, this means that more people know how to play Kalooki than Poker.
3. Online poker is getting to be very difficult as the players are getting more and more professional (sharks) this makes the average poker player's chances to win less likely. Unlike Kalooki online (http://www.rummyportal.com/kalooki_online/) which is at a beginning stage so most players are still fishes (though, we won't guarantee it of course).

If you ask us, the future is Kalooki (and Rummy),

Hi Jennifer,

Start with the practice mode in RummyRoyal's application.
There you will learn a lot. by the way, you have there every day $10 freerolls, most of them are Kalooki ones.

Enjoy,

AceMan

Sounds good advise

As to my Rummy group, no lay off can be the best for your chances to win, when you didn't started the Rummy round. If you did..... not so good.

But there is another thing ?

New tactics ;)
