What Is Rummy 500? Why Is It Different?

Rummy 500 is a two player game. In the Rummy 500 variation of online rummy, players are awarded points for cards that are melded. Points are taken away from players for cards that are left in the player’s hand when the other player goes out. Rummy 500 in and of itself is not a new game, but this new version of the game is available on the Game Desire website. The Rummy 500 game is a variation of the very fun card game called Remik.

What Is The Card Game Remik?

Remik uses all 52 cards in the deck to play. In Rummy 500, a variation of Remik, you want to score the point limit as soon as possible. You do this by laying off groups of cards in sequence. You can also do this by completing combinations through melding. Melded combinations score players points and cards left in the hand result in a negative score for the player when the other gamer goes out and laid all their cards down.

How Do I Get Started With Rummy 500?

All you have to do is visit the Game Desire website. The Rummy 500 game opens in a window when you click on the big green Play Now arrow. You can also select a public league room to open a game in. Player standings are shown on the leaderboard.

Rummy 500 is another rummy variation and it is also commonly known as five hundred rum. To understand this online rummy game you need to understand the stages of the game. If you are a beginner to this game you will need to learn the strategies required to win. If you are a member of the Rummy Royal website you can watch the tutorial videos and play this game from free until you are confident enough to play for real cash prizes.

The object of the Rummy 500 game is to score 500 points. If you are playing this game you really want to get rid of your high cards first and this is especially true if your opponent has discarded of most of their cards already. Keeping high cards can have a negative effect on your score if you still have them when the hand ends.

You need to keep an eye on what your opponent is doing. Watch the cards that they throw down and keep note of any cards that they pick up from the discard pile. This will help you to get a better idea of the melds and sets that they are building.

Rummy really is a skill and strategy based game and online rummy is becoming very popular. Game Desire is a website that allows you to play rummy 500 for fun. This website only has rummy 500 but it seems to be really popular according to the player tables and ranking lists.

Rummy 500 is a two player game. It is a variation of the tradition rummy card game and points are given when players meld cards. Points are also taken away when the other player is left with cards in their hand. The full rules along with the actual game play is all listed on the Game Desire website so be sure to check this out.

This is a fun and skilled game and if you want to play for fun and join in some great leagues then the Game Desire website could be the one you have been looking for. There will be no temptation to play for money because this online rummy website doesn’t have this feature so it really is great if you just want to play the game and learn all the skills required.

The Game Desire website also comes with a chat facility for all players and you can private message each other and everything. If you visit the chat page on this website you will find full details including all the little code words etc that you need to take part.

I actually really enjoyed taking a look at this online rummy website and it made such a difference compared to all the others where the main focus is on winning money and not the skills and strategy required to play rummy. One thing that really stood out about the Game Desire website was the fact that this website is all about fun and players are competing against each other in leagues and learning everything that they need to know. I’m sure many of these players will move on to play for real cash and I say good for them. They will have the skills and they will also have developed their strategies which will give them an excellent chance when it comes to winning real cash.

The Game Desire website could be a great starting point for players who want to learn all about Rummy 500 and because there is no temptation to play for real cash I think it is definitely worth a try. Once you master your skills you can then move on to online rummy website like Rummy Royal where you can play for real cash prizes.

Rummy Royal has the very popular version of rummy 500 available on their website for players to enjoy.  The rummy 500 game is a very fast game and not like the other variations of the game that many players are used to.  This variation of rummy is very easy to play and it offers a great deal of excitement to players.

The round ends when one player has no cards left.  The aim of the game is to collect as many points as possible by melding sets of cards.  The rules are slightly different to other online rummy games but it is great fun.  It is not unheard of to see a rummy 500 player with 20 cards in their hands and this is often considered to be a good move too.  Something you definitely wouldn’t hear of in Kalooki.

In rummy 500 a player can pick up any number of cards that he wants from the discard pile to use a card that may have been previously discarded.  It is very hard to explain but if you check out the Rummy Royal website you can see a full interactive tutorial that will explain it a lot better than I can.

Rummy 500 was introduced to the Rummy Royal website back in July 2009 and it has proved to be very popular among players.  It was first introduced into the fun mode section of the website but within days it had moved into the real mode section.

If you fancy trying your skills at this variation of the rummy card game then why not log onto the Rummy Royal website now and see just how much fun this game can be.

Rummy 500 is a great variation of the traditional rummy card game and with more and more websites now offering players a way to play this game online it makes a lot of sense to post on how to win at Rummy 500.  Listed below are my tips to winning this very enjoyable online rummy game.

The first thing I do when playing this online rummy variation is to get cards in my hand.  Most players do the opposite of this and try to get rid of their cards are quickly as possible.  This actually leads to your opponent having to subtract points from their hand and you not having a lot of points in your hand either.  If you follow my tips and try to get as many cards in your hand as you can then you will have more chances to get more points and you might even be the person in the game who can pick up what your opponent discards and actually play with it.

My second tip for winning Rummy 500 is to put down half of your pairs.  Most people will for example get 2 queens and then hold on to them hoping that they will be able to get another and then put them down.  I like to discard one of them and this way my opponent will think that I don’t have the other and they will discard another one.  I can then pick it up and play with it.  Even if they don’t put down a queen it can still be an important move because the cards can pile up and when you finally do get that 3rd card you can play them and you will have a bunch of other cards that can give you some more points.

My final winning tip is to discard your higher cards if you think that our opponent is going to go out before you.  This way if they do go out first you will lose the least amount of points you possibly can.

That’s my tips for winning at Rummy 500.  Do you have any more that you would like to share?

Rummy 500 is another great online rummy great that you can play online.  It is sometimes known as Five Hundred Rum and like all card games this particular rummy game has a strategy that you should be using if you want to win.

If you want to apply some strategies to the Rummy 500 game then this beginners article will help.  When you decide to apply certain strategies it will depend on what stage the game is at.  One of the biggest strategies is to pay attention to the cards that are being discarded and the cards that are being taken from the discard pile as this will give you a good insight into your opponents hand and what they are hoping to do.  If you can do this right it can lead to you winning the game.

When playing Rummy 500 a beginner will need to keep in mind that the object of this variation of rummy is to score 500 points.  When playing online rummy 500 you should start by discarding your high cards first as these can cause negative effects on your score should you lose the hand and they will be awarded to you in penalty points.  You will also need to be careful of blind discarding.  This is where you discard a card without knowing whether or not your opponent can use it.  This normally happens with the first discard of the deal.

As a beginner one of the most important things is to be aware of the cards that have already been played and you should always view these tactically.  You should also try to discard cards that only have a low point value even in melds.  As a beginner it is also in your advantage to keep your aces and try to place them in a sequence or in a suit as they give you a lot more points.

The winning strategy for the Rummy 500 game is to try and go out.  This is when you get a cumulative score of 500 or more and this will win you the game.  There are a number of other strategies and tips that you can read about but the best advice that anyone can give a beginner to the game of rummy 500 is to play and practice and there are plenty of online rummy website that will allow you to play these games from free and once you have developed your winning strategy you can then sign up with an online rummy website that allows you to play for cash.
