Rummy has been an extremely popular card game around the world for many centuries.  Since its introduction to the internet online rummy has really taken off and more and more people are logging into online rummy websites and taking part in some great tournaments.

There are a number of different online rummy variants that are played online and these include Kalooki, Gin Rummy, Oklahoma Rummy and more.  One of the most popular online rummy websites is Rummy Royal and this websites holds some excellent tournaments and giveaways.  These tournaments are also worth a great deal of cash to the winners too.

One of the best things about online rummy is that it is very easy to learn and it is also very interesting.  Players of all ages are playing this very popular skill games and most of the online rummy website will have beginner guides and tutorials available too.  On many of the online rummy websites you will find professional and novice players and this will help to grow your experience too.

A typical online rummy game will be played with either two or four players and all the players are dealt a certain number of cards.  The aim of the game is to makes sets with your cards and the player who manages to do this first wins the game.  In many of the online rummy variations there is a particular score that players need to reach and this usually involves playing a number of hands.

As I mentioned online rummy is a skill based card game and if you are interested in playing you should really sign up with an online rummy website that allows you to play games for free before you play for real money.  The best thing about playing for free is that you will be able to learn all the tricks and strategies required to win before you start playing for real cash and this can make a big difference too.  When you do start playing for real money you will be more confident and of course you will have a better chance of winning too.

You should always familiarise yourself with all the rules of the game and take part in the chat rooms and forums that are often offered on online rummy websites too.  You can pick up a lot of great tips by reading what others are saying and this could see you winning the next big prize tournament.

I have been writing this blog for quite some time now and what I have come to realize is that there are plenty of websites claiming to offer online rummy but the majority of these websites actually transfer you to Rummy Royal if you decide to take them up on their offer and play online rummy.

Online rummy really is very popular and it has got me wondering why Rummy Royal is holding the monopoly when it comes to online rummy games and tournaments.  Surely there are other websites out there who have the software and the capability of taking on Rummy Royal.  I know that there is 32Red Rummy but if you go to their promotions page you will see that the big tournaments are the very same as the ones being held on Rummy Royal. Are all these online rummy websites connected or are these just affiliate websites where people are claiming to offer online rummy games but instead just promoting Rummy Royal so that they get commissions?

I have come across one or two additional websites where you can play online rummy but the prizes that are up for grabs are really tiny when compared to what Rummy Royal have to offer.  There are also websites that allow you to play free online rummy games and there are one or two online casinos that have an online rummy game available too.  These other websites just don’t offer what Rummy Royal do and it makes me wonder why this is.  Why is it that Rummy Royal hold all the cards when it comes to online rummy?

Rummy Royal have an excellent website, they offer great beginner tutorials and they have the best online rummy community too. This is what makes them so popular and if you want to learn the tricks and strategies to playing online rummy and all the different variations that there are of this game then Rummy Royal really is the website that you need to join.  They have great tournaments and prize funds so if online rummy is for you then so is Rummy Royal.
