Discards are one thing that many new players get confused about. Discards are the same in all online rummy games except for Kalooki 40.  In this game if you take a card from the discard pile you must play it in a meld in the same turn.  This can be quite difficult but it does have the advantage in that you don’t have to memorise what your opponent takes from the discard pile because they won’t be holding onto the card.
