The Ultimate Rummy Challenge is being held this month at Rummy Royal. Up for grabs in this challenge is $3,000 and this is being awarded to the top eight players. All competitors in this month’s event are also invited to join in a special $500 freeroll.

Every player that plays at least 1 URC game during this competition time will be eligible to register and on Sunday the 4th of October at 7.30pm GMT players will be able to play for their share in the $500 cash up for grabs.

The $3,000 challenge prizes up for grabs during the month of September will be split eight ways as follows:

1st place: $1200

2nd place: $600

3rd place: $300

4th place: $150

5th place: $100

6th place: $75

7th place: $50

8th place: $25

There are a number of challenge tables for this online rummy Challenge and you will find them listed in the games lobby under the real money tab in the single tournament section. There are ten tables in total all with different stakes and elimination thresholds.

The player rankings for the September Ultimate Rummy Challenge will be decided according the number of challenge wins that a player has. The player ranking will therefore be equal to the number of wins minus the number of loses. Only the players who have positive ranking will appear on the scoreboard on the Rummy Royal website and this scoreboard is updated at numerous stages throughout the day.

Say for example, you played 27 games and out of these games you won 20 and lost 7, your player ranking would be 13 (20-7). If you played 12 games and lost 7 your name wouldn’t appear on the scoreboard because your ranking would be 5 games won minus 7 games lost which is -2.

This Ultimate Rummy Challenge will be running until 23.59 GMT on the 30th of September and the winner will be the player with the highest ranking at this time.

Don’t forget, this Challenge in now underway and a list of all the tables taking part in this promotion can be found on the promotions page of the Rummy Royal Website or in the games lobby.

In yesterdays post I spoke about the different types of online rummy tournaments that are held at 32Red Rummy so today I am going to move on to discuss the different tournament formats that they have and the symbols you need to be able to recognise.

Turbo tournaments or (T) are tables that offer regular rummy games but the time limit for these is 30 seconds which means that game play is a lot quicker. These tournaments will always be marked with a (T) and you can find them in the online rummy lobby.

Speed Tournaments are an option for multi table tournaments and the level counter in these tournaments runs much faster which makes these games a lot more exciting and very unpredictable. These tournaments are marked with an (S).

Guaranteed tournaments are another tournament format available on 32Red Rummy and these are tournaments that have a set prize that is guaranteed no matter how many players. If the stakes from all the players exceeds the guaranteed prize then the prize will also increase. These tournaments are marked with a (G).

Added Prize tournaments are tournaments where a predetermined amount is added to the pool prize over and above player stakes. This is marked with an (A).

Rebuys are featured in multi table tournaments and these allow players that have been eliminated to buy back into the competition. Players that use the rebuy option in a tournament will return to the game with their initial number of chips. The rebuy option can normally only be used up to a certain level and only on rebuy games. They are marked with an (R).

Freeroll tournaments are always clearly marked inside the lobby and these are multi table tournaments that offer real cash prizes with no buy ins from players.

Qualifier tournaments are usually held before High Stakes tournaments and they usually offer the winners a seat at the high stakes game or the chance to purchase a seat in the high stakes game at a much lower buy in amount. These tournaments are marked with a (Q).

Beginners tables are where new players can compete against each other and be guaranteed that all players are at their experience level. These tables are marked with a (B).

So there you have it, 32Red Rummy has some excellent tournaments for their players and they are all clearly marked in their lobby so there is no need to search for what you want.

32Red Rummy has some great online rummy tournaments and they come in many different formats and tournament types. In today’s post I want to explain the different tournament types and the tournament formats that are available on this online rummy website will follow in tomorrow post as there is just too much information to put in one post.

When it comes to tournament types there are three different ones. These are quick seats, single table tournaments, and multi table tournaments. Quick seats are tables that have a predetermined number of rounds and players. The usual number of rounds is between one and three. Players will compete against each other and the winner is the player with the least number of points at the end of the game after all the rounds have been played.

Single table tournaments are tournaments that are designed to allow two to four players to compete against each other in a single table where players will receive penalty points. The player that reaches the elimination threshold will then be eliminated from the tournament and the remaining players will then battle it out to see who will be the overall winner.

Multi table tournaments are designed to allow a large number of players compete for a much larger pool prize. The more players that register for these tournaments the more tables that will open to cover all the players. The games will play and the number of tables will decrease with each round as players are eliminated. The winner is the player that has all the chips in the last table remaining. These tournaments are usually predetermined and you will see them listed on the tournaments page on the 32Red Rummy website.

32Red Rummy hosts a number of tournaments on a regular basis and all the information required is printed on their tournaments page.

In tomorrow’s post I will provide you with all the information that you need to know about the tournament formats that are available on the 32Red Rummy Website.
