The Ultimate Rummy Challenge is being held this month at Rummy Royal. Up for grabs in this challenge is $3,000 and this is being awarded to the top eight players. All competitors in this month’s event are also invited to join in a special $500 freeroll.
Every player that plays at least 1 URC game during this competition time will be eligible to register and on Sunday the 4th of October at 7.30pm GMT players will be able to play for their share in the $500 cash up for grabs.
The $3,000 challenge prizes up for grabs during the month of September will be split eight ways as follows:
1st place: $1200
2nd place: $600
3rd place: $300
4th place: $150
5th place: $100
6th place: $75
7th place: $50
8th place: $25
There are a number of challenge tables for this online rummy Challenge and you will find them listed in the games lobby under the real money tab in the single tournament section. There are ten tables in total all with different stakes and elimination thresholds.
The player rankings for the September Ultimate Rummy Challenge will be decided according the number of challenge wins that a player has. The player ranking will therefore be equal to the number of wins minus the number of loses. Only the players who have positive ranking will appear on the scoreboard on the Rummy Royal website and this scoreboard is updated at numerous stages throughout the day.
Say for example, you played 27 games and out of these games you won 20 and lost 7, your player ranking would be 13 (20-7). If you played 12 games and lost 7 your name wouldn’t appear on the scoreboard because your ranking would be 5 games won minus 7 games lost which is -2.
This Ultimate Rummy Challenge will be running until 23.59 GMT on the 30th of September and the winner will be the player with the highest ranking at this time.
