32Red Tournament Formats

In yesterdays post I spoke about the different types of online rummy tournaments that are held at 32Red Rummy so today I am going to move on to discuss the different tournament formats that they have and the symbols you need to be able to recognise.

Turbo tournaments or (T) are tables that offer regular rummy games but the time limit for these is 30 seconds which means that game play is a lot quicker. These tournaments will always be marked with a (T) and you can find them in the online rummy lobby.

Speed Tournaments are an option for multi table tournaments and the level counter in these tournaments runs much faster which makes these games a lot more exciting and very unpredictable. These tournaments are marked with an (S).

Guaranteed tournaments are another tournament format available on 32Red Rummy and these are tournaments that have a set prize that is guaranteed no matter how many players. If the stakes from all the players exceeds the guaranteed prize then the prize will also increase. These tournaments are marked with a (G).

Added Prize tournaments are tournaments where a predetermined amount is added to the pool prize over and above player stakes. This is marked with an (A).

Rebuys are featured in multi table tournaments and these allow players that have been eliminated to buy back into the competition. Players that use the rebuy option in a tournament will return to the game with their initial number of chips. The rebuy option can normally only be used up to a certain level and only on rebuy games. They are marked with an (R).

Freeroll tournaments are always clearly marked inside the lobby and these are multi table tournaments that offer real cash prizes with no buy ins from players.

Qualifier tournaments are usually held before High Stakes tournaments and they usually offer the winners a seat at the high stakes game or the chance to purchase a seat in the high stakes game at a much lower buy in amount. These tournaments are marked with a (Q).

Beginners tables are where new players can compete against each other and be guaranteed that all players are at their experience level. These tables are marked with a (B).

So there you have it, 32Red Rummy has some excellent tournaments for their players and they are all clearly marked in their lobby so there is no need to search for what you want.

Until next time,

Deal Those Cards,
