Anyone can win a round of Gin Rummy provided certain tips are used and followed in this game. Firstly remember no wild cards are allowed in this card game like how it is allowed in other variations of Rummy. The basic focus of any player who wants to win should be to meld sets or runs. The player who uses his memory in the best way possible has a better chance of winning a round of Gin Rummy.

Avoid having a card in your hand which cannot be a part of any sequence. A round of Gin Rummy comes to an end when any player uses the Knock option. This Option should only be used when a player has 10 points or less of deadwood. Deadwood stands for unmatched or unmelded cards. The other player then gets a chance to expose his cards, and arrange them into runs and sets. Plus, the player can take any of unmelded cards and add them to the sets or runs laid down by the knocker.

But the best way to earn points in Gin Rummy is to use the Go Gin option. A player should try his level best to meld all his cards without leaving any deadwood count. That means he should not have a single unmelded card. A winner in such a case not only earns 25 points but also gets to add the deadwood count of his opponent. Thus a player who is an expert at using the Go Gin option and melding all his cards can earn a large number of points. When a player reaches a score of 100 or any other pre-decided score, then that player receives a game bonus of 100 points. This too adds to the point’s tally of a player. Choose the strategy which suits your game and can help you to win Gin Rummy.

To play Gin Rummy competitively, you need to know how to play Gin Rummy properly. Gin Rummy is a fairly simple card game to be played by 2-4 players. You will need a cards’ deck of 52 cards to play this game. When there are 2 players in the game, each player is dealt 10 cards while each player is dealt 7 cards when there are four players in this game. The object of playing Gin Rummy is to get rid of all the cards which are with you. This can be done by melding them into sets or runs and then laying them down.

A set is basically 3-4 cards which will have the same value while a run will have 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit. How you manage to make these runs or sets is the key to playing Gin Rummy. Of course in return you would have to remove one card from your hand on the discard pile. This will go on till you win either by the way of Gin, Knock or Undercut method. Gin gets you the most points but you will have to meld all your cards and discard the last card off onto the discard pile.

Knock is useful for those who want to reduce their penalty points. Finally the player with the maximum number of points after a large number of table rounds is declared the winner. While Gin offers 25 points to the player, Undercut and Knock offers 20 points and 10 points respectfully to the winners. In this game, the Ace has a value of one point while all the cards with faces have ten points. The other cards have the points worth their face value. How to play Gin Rummy can increase or decrease your chances of winning. To play Gin Rummy properly, you will need to plan your strategy well so that you will use all your cards carefully to get the best combination out of them. make money online with Gin Rummy.

Recently Rummy Royal added the popular game versions of Kalooki 51 and Kalooki 40. The difference between these versions is the sum of cards the players needs to have before he can meld his series.

Our friend with his own Kalooki website, suggested kalooki 51 is the all time favorite of card games in the Rummy genre, furthermore he even suggested that Kalooki 51 is the new Texas Hold’em and is to replace the poker hype.

I think we all think a like, this game is easy to play yet you can implement your own game strategies thus making this game a skill required one instead of luck based game. Furthermore this game can also be played in tiles which is suitable for younger people to play against adult, we all know the popular game of Rummikub which we used to play – this is exactly it.

So whether you like it or not, Kalooki 51 and Kalooki 40 are here to stay.

Good luck!

One thing is for sure, Rummy is here and it’s big!

Lately we’re witnessing more and more players ditching the traditional online poker platforms and moving to the next best thing – online rummy.

Rummy Royal which reinvented the concept of online rummy games with a revolutionary rummy game software, has recently launched a 51 points version for the popular kalooki 51 game. The version of this game was launched in mid April and made a buzz among rummy players who immediately made this version of the rummy game their favorite.

It’s now safe to say that the online Rummy game is here to stay and it’s a matter of time until it will hit the news and make the same buzz as online poker did.

One of the most attractive features about the online rummy platform is without a doubt the similarity to the online poker platform which made it so much easier for poker players who are familiar with the rummy game or kalooki game rules to make the switch.
